How to control your emotions

Sometimes in life we get hurt by people, not because they are bad, or because they represent evil, no... just because they are humans, and humans make mistakes, and we all did it at least once, we all hurt someone without even doing it on purpose. But the problem of most of us is that we spend too much energy thinking about what happened to us, instead of thinking about a solution or a way to control our emotions. So too much feelings are bad for you, and if you don't control that you will fail in life, because life is full of events that make emotions, and believe me even good feelings like love can destroy your somehow, when you become so obsessed by someone to the point that all you want is to be with that person, talk to that person and think about that person. It is like you are losing everything to get one thing, which was good a thousands year ago, when Women and Men used to complete each others and not to compete, but I ain't talk about this situation today.
Before knowing how to control our emotions let give a definition to emotions first, for me an emotion is an extra energy that our mind create to make our bodies feel something, bad or good, but the most of time this thing doesn't even exist, it is only our minds which are very powerful that make us believe it, so I think we can control that and it is up to us to stay in a weak situation or to get up. Here is how to control your emotions in my book:
  1. Sport: working out, going to the gym, running ... just move your body and let the bad energy be replaced by some good energy, it works very well, after a gym session you will feel more powerful and relaxed than you have never been.
  2. Talk to someone: sometimes all we need is someone to listen to what we want to say and then we feel better, but choose well a person who doesn't talk too much, because he/she may hurts you with a critic or a comment.
  3. Focus on your dreams: when you are so focused you will not have much energy to spend on something else, it is like you are immune against bad thing, but for that you need much will and much motivation.
  4. Eat healthy: sometimes we get feeling as a result of our diets, because some food we eat, can destabilize our body hormones which can lead to the creation of that extra energy.
Lastly, I would like to say that as humans being we cannot live without emotion, because some are the fuel of our existence, all we have to do is to control our feelings and keep being strong for not being affected.
