Patience is a virtue. In this life we cannot get all we want, when we want it, and by trying only once. We have to dig deep down over and over to get what we are worth and to be successful, because as many said before, your destination is important, but the journey is more important. If you can't stay hopeful and determined, then you won't be able to progress. Thus, you will not be able to reach your potential and show your inner strength to the world.
Greatness is something valuable, because once you get it, your life will start making sense and the inner voice inside you will start satisfying you, so it needs somethings as a price, and the more the price is, the more valuable the result will be.
As an example of what patience is really about, here a fact about the Chinese bamboo tree:

Once the seed is planted, you have to water it and fertilize it every day for 5 years, and before this fifth year nothing happens, not after the first, the second, the third or even fourth. It takes 5 years before that something starts breaking through the ground, and if the watering process and the fertilization process is stopped at any moment, the bamboo tree will die on the ground. Now if the process is not gave up, in six weeks something incredible emerges, the tree goes NINETY FEET TALL.
The lesson is clear dear readers. This awesome tree needs 5 years to reach its full potential, so is your ambition. To accomplish whatever in life you need time, patience and perseverance, you can't just start doing something and give up, because if you do so, you will be obliged to go to the outset point, and that is by far more frustrating than going on and keeping faith, as Eric thomas said: don't cry to give up, cry to carry on, and this is true, because every time you reach a point, all you have is two choices, whether you give up or carry on, the choice is yours. You can't know when you will reach that full power you always dreamed about. Maybe all you need is one step further... so keep working and keeping believe, don't look down to yourself, and you will reach it sooner or later.
